Qualifications to become a volunteer with Gulf Shores Fire Rescue

1. Must be 19 years of age, minium age to qualify as a driver is 21.
2. Must be one of the following:

A: Resident of Gulf Shores
B: Live within the volunteer response area
C: Work within the Gulf Shores Area and have your employers permission to respond to calls while at work.

3. Must possess and maintain a valid Alabama Drivers License.
4. Must possess and maintain a valid Auto Insurance contract with a licensed insurance company. (liability / Full Cov.)
5. Must be a High School Graduate or GED Certificate holder.
6. Must have physician's written approval
7. Be able to attend drills.
8. Must be able to respond to calls.

Meetings are Mondays at 7pm. You will be allowed to observe for a few meetings as we investigate your application.
